Business card for Google
Does Google know your address, phone and opening hours?
Your site can hand Google a short business card: who you are, where you are, when you're open and how to call. We check what yours says and fill in a ready version you can add to your site.

Why the business card matters
People see your website. Google and AI assistants also read a hidden card in the page with your name, address, phone and hours. When it's missing or half empty, they guess, and sometimes they guess wrong.
A complete card helps Google match your site to your business profile and helps assistants like ChatGPT give the right phone number and hours when someone asks about you.
Questions owners ask
Is this the same as my Google Business Profile?
No, they work together. The profile lives on Google. The card lives on your website and confirms the same details, so Google trusts both.
Where do I put the code?
In the head of your home page. Most website builders have a box for custom code in the site settings. If someone looks after your site, send them the code and the steps.
Will this get me stars in Google?
No. Google doesn't show star ratings for a business's own reviews of itself. The card helps Google get your details right, which matters more.
What if my business has no shop or office?
Leave the street empty and fill in the city or area you serve. The card still helps with your name, phone and hours.
